Amputee in Action, Greenville Spinners and Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital are pleased to present the second annual Crank It! Cycling Charity Ride on September 17, 2011. All cyclists, from beginners to seasoned riders, can enjoy the early fall colors on the beautiful country roads of northern Greenville County by choosing one of three unique routes.

Route Options

All routes start and finish at Gateway Park, 115 Henderson Dr., Travelers Rest, SC 29690.

Metric Century: 62 miles, $40

Start time: 8:00 am
This beautiful loop includes a climb up and over both Camp Old Indian and Packs Mountain Ridge.

Medio Route: 30 miles, $30

Start time: 8:15 am
This beautiful scenic route takes you toward North Greenville College and back.

Piccolo Route: 10 miles, $10

Start time: 8:30 am
This family friendly route heads down the Swamp Rabbit Trail toward Greenville and back.

Included: Staffed rest stops stocked with food and water, SAG/light mechanical support and a catered post-ride lunch.


Parking is available along Main Street and in Gateway Park.

Online Registration: Open until Friday, 9/16 at Day-of Registration: 7:00 – 8:30 am at Check-in area
Rules No refunds. Event will proceed rain or shine. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Trailers, trail-a-bikes and child seats are not permitted. This is not a race. No finish-line sprinting will be permitted and those who do sprint will be DQd and will not receive finishing times. This is an open course and all traffic laws should be followed. Ride on the right side of the road. Do not litter. Ride courteously and conduct yourselves with respect to motorists, residents, fellow riders, event organizers and volunteers.
